A charismatic pianist (and former prodigy child) who lives in Vienna in 1777 loses her eyesight overnight when she is three years old. After many hopeless medical experiments, her parents send her to a controversial “miracle doctor,” who actually seems to heal her but the cure comes with a price: this time, the young woman loses her talent... An emotional and sensual journey into what our eyes and our soul see; a reflection on what makes a person exceptional in each human society.
