Leisure Seeker

An old married couple enjoys their second honeymoon when they set off for a road trip in the heart of America on an old VR with the name “Leisure Seeker,” to escape a medical care that would keep them apart forever. An alternative cinematic treatment for the burden of body and soul, which proves that a man can experience surprises in every route, even if he considers that he can see the very end of it.

Paolo Virzi

Paolo Virzì is a renowned Italian film director, writer and producer. Ηe studied screenwriting at the historic Centro Sperimentale di Cinematografia film school, graduating in 1987, and made his directorial début in 1994 with La bella vita. In October 2008, the Annecy Cinéma Italien awarded Paolo Virzì the Sergio Leone Award in recognition for his overall career achievement. In 2013, Virzì was appointed director of the 31st Torino Film Festival. The Leisure Seeker is the first film of his that is entirely shot in America.
