The lives of Ana, Veronica, Marta and Toro, four lonely people living through the routine and silence in the southern Chile.They gather to eat, walk along the beach, take the ferry, or simply accompany each other without needing to say anything. In a way, they are trying to save themselves in a silent, furtive and extreme manner. They search for love, sex, nonexistent family affection, and their own space and time, not only to distance themselves from the loneliness that defines them, but ultimately, to find themselves

Jose Luis Torres Leiva

He was born in 1975. He won the distinguished Fondart State Award for his short film Los muertos at the age of 23. Since then he has made several critically acclaimed independent videos, including No Place Nowhere and The Time that Rests. The Sky, the Earth and the Rain, for which he got support from the Hubert Bals Fund, is his first fiction feature
