Nine Days

Nine Days

61st TIFF: Greek premiere

Will is watching the lives of random people unfurl on TV sets. When a new “vacancy” pops up, he submits the candidates’ unborn souls to 9 days of tests. Only one soul is allowed to make the transition to life, while the rest are sentenced to eternal oblivion. Meanwhile, Will experiences an unexpected inner cleansing, as he meets Emma, a free-spirited contestant. A meditative and innovative parable on the drama of existence and the eternal mystery of life.
