Time of the Comet

Albania, 1914. The German Prince Wied is named King of Albania. He receives a letter from the Muslim fanatics; he is asked to undergo circumcision, but he refuses. Shestan, a Moslem, and his four friends set off to fight for their country. Instead of the enemy, Shestan meets Agnes, a Catholic, who has been sent to a convent against her will. They fall in love. Shestan and his warriors fail to find the war, the war keeps changing and moving around. Having found love, Shestan gives up war and takes Agnes home.

Fatmir Koci

He was born in Tirana in 1959. He attended the Academy of Fine Arts and the Film School in Tirana. His first feature film, Necrology, received a Special Mention for Best First Feature Film at the Montreal World FF in 1996. "Alternative Head", a video documentary shot in 1996 won several awards at international festivals. Ηis film "Tirana Year Zero" won the Golden Alexander at the 42nd Thessaloniki IFF.
