Noah Land

Nuh Tepesi

60th TIFF: Greek Premiere

Getting closer to his final days due to a terminal illness, Ibrahim asks his estranged son Ömer to drive him to his birthplace, a remote village in rural Turkey. His final wish is to be buried under an olive tree he claims to have planted many decades ago. However, the plot thickens as the locals claim that the tree is sacred, attributing its origin to Noah, who supposedly planted it after the end of the Great Flood. A tale of repentance and forgiveness; a story of good faith towards oneself and the others.
