Based on the internationally acclaimed book and true memoirs of Pin Yathay, Stay Alive My Son is a fantastical and immersive experience whereupon the audience steps into his shoes to relive his inspirational story spanning over 45 years. It emotively begins, when the Player, as Yathay, is shown a photograph of a 6-year-old boy, now digitally aged to 50, causing his realities to collide. Haunted by his inner demons, his guilt surfaces for abandoning his son to escape during the Cambodian genocide. As the viewers experience Yathay’s journey, they discover his reason for living: to reclaim all that he lost and to reunite with his son.
