A labor of love that merges with Rainer Werner Fassbinder’s cinematic universe, displaying the multiple facets of the most prominent icon in German film history: an ingenious director, a tortured soul, an unbearable narcissist. As if he sensed his limited life span, Fassbinder frantically created film after film, diving deeper and deeper into the dark chambers of the German soul. And along with his broken and cursed heroes, this bright comet was fading out little by little.
