The Face and the City is an ambient film concerning the play The Pre-last of the Monikins – A monologue without a Beginning and without an End, by Paris Tacopoulos. It is a film of Beckett’s style atmosphere and Joyce’s style content as a narrative peculiarity imposed by oral speech when encountering the moving image.
