In a desperate attempt to overcome his midlife crisis, Martin has run away from society to live in the forest. He has gotten himself a bow and a caveman outfit, but the truth is: he sucks at survival. One day, he comes across Musa, a drug dealer who is injured and on the run. Hoping to escape their many problems, the eccentric duo embarks on a hectic ride across the fjords. Chased by the local police, an angry Viking, violent thugs, and – last but not least – Martin’s family! A whimsical tale about the eternal battle between human and nature, which speaks to our deepest instincts.

Thomas Daneskov
Thomas Daneskov (1989) is an autodidact Danish director who surprised everybody by winning New Talent Grand Prix for his no-budget feature film The Elite at CPH PIX in 2015. Since then, he has created the mockumentary series Joe Tech for DR, before embarking on Wild Men – his biggest cinematic film to date.
