The Experiment of Venezuela

The documentary captures the deep political and economic crisis in Venezuela, 18 years after the electoral victory of Hugo Chavez. It features testimonials by citizens forming long queues outside supermarkets and pharmacies; it records a political rally for President Nicolas Maduro and it follows the leader of the opposition, Henrique Capriles, in a favela. Among others, Lilian Tintori, the wife of imprisoned opposition leader Leopoldo Lopez, talks about the so-called political prisoners in Venezuela.
