A fiction feature about a group of undocumented immigrants from Mexico who live in Brooklyn, following the everyday steps of bicycle delivery guys, construction workers, dishwashers, deli workers and cotton candy vendors, as they work long hours, six days a week, and then savor their day of rest on Sundays on the soccer fields. An iconic director of American independent cinema returns after 12 years working for the TV (where he shot episodes of The Wire and Mr. Robot, among others), with a low-key poem on forbearance.
