Women’s Conspiracies

Alexis is a man at the critical age of 50. He has a good job and an orderly family life. The film begins late one evening with a phone call he gets from his boss’s secretary, which causes him to drive off hurriedly for the company offices. His boss announces to him that he is fired and from this moment on his life becomes a real nightmare. His marriage ends in divorce and is followed by a true odyssey in search of both a new job and another companion. Alexis will experience a series of tragicomic situations in various workplaces while he will relish seductive and absurd scenes with erotic companions of various ages and types. Or could it be that things did not happen this way?

Vassilis Vafeas

He was born in Alexandria, Egypt, in 1944. He studied Chemistry at the University of Athens and continued with
postgraduate studies in Paris. He studied Film Directing at the Stavrakos Film School in Athens. For a number of years he worked as a chemist and plant manager.His artistic career began in 1973 and as of 1979 has occupied him exclusively. Since then he has written, directed and produced eight features films and has also directed 11 plays and two multimedia shows.
