Sunny Day

Two strangers in the same town. A day in August. Manos, 20 years old, and Thanassis, 50 years old, a cabdriver. Both of them lead a boring life that becomes more and more suffocating through their stifling daily routine in a city that becomes more and more hostile. Until the moment of crisis where one becomes the killer and the other the victim in a tragic but comical pursuit that ends as crazily as it started.

Anthi Daoundaki

She was born in Athens. She studied Documentary Direction at Marc Bloch University in Strasburg and Mass Media at Pantion University. Since 2002 she has been working as assistant director and script supervisor on film and television productions. Sunny Day is her first short film.
