Murder Βackstage

The “Gloria” theater is in turmoil in view of the opening of the new revue. Makris, a reporter on the “Morning” daily is doing a story backstage while a mysterious man attempts to meet one of the show’s protagonists, Roza Deli. Roza is found stabbed in her dressing room. Police Captain Bekas undertakes the investigation, immediately establishes a makeshift interrogation room in the theater’s cloak-room and starts to question the members of the troupe and the theater people.As the case gradually starts to unravel, things appear far more complicated than he had thought at first.At the same time, the reporter Makris is carrying on his own investigation.

Dinos Katsouridis

He was born in Nicosia, Cyprus in 1927 and studied Economics and Film at the Stavrakos Film School in Athens. He began his career as a still photographer and assistant cinematographer. From 1951 to 1959 he worked at the Finos Film studios, initially as an assistant and later as a cinematographer and editor. He turned to directing in 1960. In 1969 he founded his own film production company and lab together with Thanassis Vengos.
