The Sacred Rock

Inside the British Museum, a young man is going through a haunting experience. Back in Athens, his involvement in the restoration works of the Acropolis takes on a totally new meaning.The restoration works continue. A battle against time. The young man’s life merges into the nights spent on the Acropolis; into the changing seasons; into his secret relationship with the Acropolis; into what the Acropolis means to us today.

Myrto Paraschi

She was born and lives in Athens. She has studied Archaeology in the USA and at the Sorbonne, Choreography and Theatre in the USA and Paris, Dance and Vocals in New York and in Athens. From 1973 until 1989 she directed more than 10 theatrical productions, ranging from tragedies to contemporary poetical works, which were staged at theatres in Athens. She has starred in films, stage productions and television series (1975-1989). She has translated a number of plays and published a collection of poems.
