U-turn

Andreas is a car thief. The cars he steals he turns over to people with whom he has minimal relations. His only friends are a prostitute who helps him in his jobs and a fisherman with whom he once did time in jail. One day he has a chance encounter with Ismini who lures him into a dangerous game.

Nikos Grammatikos

He was born in Salamina in 1963 and studied Mathematics and Film Directing in Athens. From 1984 to 1994 he produced the radio program The Third Program goes to the Movies. The King won the Culture Ministry’s 3rd National Cinema Award, as well as the awards for Best Actor, Best Sets and Best Sound, while The Wake won the 2nd National Cinema Award.
