The Bed

A man has been left as guard in a deserted industrial area. Everything around him is falling apart. Everything but his own strange quarters. Why doesn’t he go away? What is he guarding? And, above all, where do all those who are after him come from and what are they looking for? Should he remain sleepless and keep watch? Fear sets in as answering these questions becomes more and more difficult since his dreams seem far more trustworthy than what surrounds him when he is awake.Will he find a way out of the growing confusion or will he prefer to go forth into it?

Jorgos Loukakos

He was born in Athens. He lives and works between Amsterdam, Athens and Paris. He studied Photography in Athens (ESP) and in Prague (FAMU). He then graduated from the School of Fine Arts in Amsterdam (Rietveld Academie). His work is a continuous experimentation on the cinematic form through other means (video, installations, photography).>
