The Tass Book – The Art of Storyboard

Thessaloniki Film Festival and the film production company Marni Films present a special bilingual edition, showcasing the unique work of TASS (George Tassioulas, 1970–2021), a multi-faceted creator who left an indelible mark as a storyboard artist in contemporary Greek cinema. The publication presents a selection of his rich oeuvre as a visual artist, illustrator, and comic designer, and is complimented by texts of close friends and collaborators, scholars and filmmakers; at the same time, it highlights the important role of the storyboard in the evolution of Greek cinema. The discussion will led by filmmaker Panos Η. Koutras, set designer Marie-Louise Bartholomew-Nikolaidou, the art director of the publication Yannis Karlopoulos, and the editor of the publication Efi Papazachariou
