Olympion
The iconic crime film Robbery in Athens (1969) by Vangelis Serdaris will be screened with full accessibility at the 65th TIFF, in collaboration with the Greek Directors Guild, on the occasion of its 50th anniversary. Three young men, driven by financial destitution and the bleak outlook of a stifling life, attempt a daring robbery in downtown Athens. Although the plan initially succeeds, spreading momentary (and later heartbreaking) excitement, the situation soon spirals into a harsh descent toward inevitable despair.
Admission is free, on issue of a zero-value ticket
