On the occasion of the recent release of Yannis Smoilis’s book On My Mind’s Screen (Aigokeros editions [in Greek]), a collected volume of texts discussing movies but expanding to “life, the world, ideas, emotions, the sense of things, and the thoughts they trigger, the beauty and their agony,” the author talks about the challenges, peculiarities, and adventures of writing for cinema. Film critics Yorgos Papadimitriou and Nektarios Sakkas as well as the artistic director of the festival, Orestis Andreadakis participate in the discussion.
