Iconic Talks powered by Mastercard: The Evolution, Challenges and Future Visions of the LGBTQI+ Portrayals in Greek TV and Cinema

In line with its commitment to provide constant support to the LGBTQI+ community with substantial actions, this year Mastercard, in collaboration with the Festival, builds on last year’s “Masterclass powered by Mastercard” initiative and invites us in an event open to the public, who will have the opportunity to attend a series of experiential talks by iconic film and television artists and creators. The latter will share their personal experiences, shedding light on the challenges, the future, and the steps that have been taken to promote the LGBTQI+ community in the arts in Greece, as well as the contribution of film and television to shaping positive attitudes towards the LGBTQI+ community itself in Greek society. Participants: Vassilis Kekatos, filmmaker; Dimitra Papadopoulou, actress and screenwriter; Dimitris Tsiklis, actor; Zacharias Mavroeidis, director and screenwriter; Andreas Lambropoulos, actor; and Fenia Apostolou, actress and director.
