State Symphony Orchestra of Thessaloniki concert – “Mikis Theodorakis: His Symphonic and Cinematic Works”

The State Orchestra of Thessaloniki and the Cultural Centre of the Region of Central Macedonia render homage to Mikis Theodorakis, through a rich program binding together the symphonic and the film music of the unforgettable top-notch Greek composer. The concert is held in collaboration with Thessaloniki Concert Hall, within the framework of the 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival. The program includes beloved songs that pass on the torch to iconic symphonic works. Mikis Theodorakis as film music composer is reflected in Zorbas, the legendary oeuvre of worldwide appeal, that brought Mikis' name on everyone's lips, in the four corners of the planet.
