Together Apart: VR cinema experience

Admission is free for the public, on a first-come-first-served basis. Entrance is carried out upon presentation of a vaccination certificate or a recovery certificate, along with an official identity verification document.
The 62nd Thessaloniki International Film Festival presents Together Apart: VR cinema experience, a unique Co-Watching VR cinema experience. Using a VR mask, viewers in different spaces can watch together, through avatars, in a 3D digital theater, a cinema screening. On November 12, in the framework of the 62nd TIFF (November 4 – 14, 2021), the artistic director of TIFF, Orestis Andreadakis will connect from Thessaloniki with Athens, where film critic Christos Mitsis and actor Panos Zournatzidis, wheelchair user, with the latter showing us the accessible side of virtual reality, in order to watch together the film Afterimage by Antonis Doussias.
