Rams

He was born in 1977 and graduated from Prague’s FAMU in 2004. His diploma film, Slavek the Shit, was the first film that got international attention. It was selected to the Cinefondation section of the Cannes IFF in 2005 and won 12 festival prizes, including the “Silver Hugo” at the Chicago IFF. His next short film, Wrestling, premiered at the Locarno FF in 2007 and is one of the most successful Icelandic short films. It won 25 festival prizes around the world.
