No Coming Back

Syrian refugees brought back memories of the refugee crisis Hellenism suffered after the Asia Minor Disaster, when thousands of Greeks from Asia Minor found refuge in Syria. Europe finds itself for the first time facing a problem of this scale – a fact that creates dangerous fear syndromes among citizens of different countries. This documentary makes use of testimonies of refugees, volunteers and local inhabitants, in an effort to understand the historic nature of events.
