In the City

A filmic exploration of the multi-cultural Western suburb of Athens, Aigaleo City. Aigaleo is a city that was created by migrants from Asia Minor, Pontos and Assyria in the first half of the 20th century. Since its inception, it has been a place where migrants from different places and nationalities have set up new homes. The film receals a kaleidoscope of characters and places, painting the quiet portrait of a city which was formed and still continues to this day to be transformed by the socio-political changes taking place in Greece. The film observes the slow pace of a somewhat strange yet beguiling city.
