Yorgos Georgopoulos
He was born in Athens in 1975. He studied directing at the Stavrakos Film School. His father was a DoP on many classic Greek films and was a strong influence in his decision to work in the cinema. He studied social science in Rome (Universita Roma I: “La Sapienza”). Upon his return to Greece, he worked as a film editor and soon thereafter as a director, mainly of TV commercials and documentary films.
