The Student

A Russian theater and cinema director, he graduated from the Physics Department of Rostov State University. A winner of the national television award TEFI, his film Raginwon the East of West Award at the Karlovy Vary IFF, while he also received an award for his film Playing the Victim at the Kinotavr and Rome IFFs. His next film, Yuri’s Day, won awards at the Locarno and Warsaw IFFs. Since 2008 he has been teaching at the Moscow Art Theater School (MKhAT).
