Thessaloniki International Film Festival and the Greek Film Centre take part in Cannes' Producers Network, offering support to four producers from Greece

Thessaloniki International Film Festival and the Greek Film Centre announce their joint participation in the acclaimed Producers Network, an action hosted by the Cannes Film Festival’s Marché du Film, offering support to four producers from Greece. The action is backed by the Recovery and Resilience Facility, within the framework of the supporting Agora’s outward initiatives.

Greece, taking part for the first time in the Producers Network, is the only country from Southeast Europe and the Balkans to take part in this action hosted by Cannes’ Marché du Film, one of the biggest-scale and most sought-after film markets in the world. The five producers that will be showcased in the Producers Network had their projects presented at the Crossroads Co-production Forum of the 63rd Thessaloniki International Film Festival.

The Producers Network is welcoming more than 400 producers from around the globe, who are in search for networking opportunities and wish to get an insight of the most up-to-date trends and tendencies of the international production, financing and distribution landscape for their films. The Greek producers will have the unique chance to take part in a series of meetings tailor-made for giving birth to opportunities and helping the producers to dynamically promote their works abroad.
