The book was published on the occasion of the program “Children of a Harsh Reality”, as part of the 4th Thessaloniki Documentary Festival. It includes an extensive article by Mohsen Makhmalbaf, where the Iranian director captures with sensitivity and profound knowledge of the historical, anthropological and geographical parameters, the cause of the disaster, the large child mortality and the humanistic crisis, which afflict the long-suffered Afghanistan.
