Kierion

A journalist is accused of murdering an American colleague who was investigating the role of an oil cartel in the Middle East. Despite the fact that he is acquitted he wants to uncover the real guilty parties. But in vain.The role of the secret services and the para-state organizations proves more complex and more powerful than him.

Dimos Theos

Born in Agrafa, Greece in 1935. He originally worked as an assistant director on many Greek films and later directed for the stage. From the late fifties he was already directing plays by Beckett and Ionesco. His films have won awards at international film festivals (Kierion won a Special Mention at the 1968 Venice Film Festival). He has directed documentaries for television and has written many theoretical texts on art and cinema.
