The Girl Who Was Born Twice

Το κορίτσι που γεννήθηκε δυο φορές

The documentary The Girl Who Was Born Twice is about Myrtis. Myrtis is the name given to the reconstruction, by special scientists, of the face of an eleven-year- old juvenile, victim of the plague that in 431 BC killed 1/3 of Athenians. Myrtis "communicated" with 21st century people and constitutes a special case of a cultural good, as she is an entity with elements that concern not only science, but also education. Furthermore, Myrtis acts as a way to awaken consciousness, calling for action for major problems that concern the modern world (war, diseases etc.).
