Eighteen-year-old Eleni and 22-year-old Babis meet and fall in love in Thessaly, in 1954. Soon after, Babis is arrested for illegal political activities and is condemned to many years in prison. Eleni, who is also wanted, leaves for Athens, where she will live under cover until 1966. When, in 1966, babis is transferred from Crete to the prison on Aegina, Eleni will manages to board the ship just to catch a glimpse of him. In late 1966, Babis is released and then they are free for the first time to enjoy their love.

Pantelis Voulgaris

He was born in Athens in 1940. He studied Film Direction at the Hellenic Cinema and Television School Stavrakos in Athens and after his graduation, he worked as an assistant director on many films. His films have received numerous international awards. His film Little England was the official entry of Greece for the Best Foreign Language Film Academy Award.
