A woman of changing identity guides the viewers on a journey through Krabi’s history, folklore traditions, and iconic sites, in a hybrid structure that merges fiction, interviews and oral tradition into a fluid and sui generis experience. Past and present day (2562 by Thai Buddhist calendar standards) coexist in this southern Thailand’s paradise, soon to be devoured by rampant consumerism and invasive tourism. In one instance, a prehistoric couple exists alongside Krabi’s tourists, going about their daily lives oblivious to the millennia flow. Shot on Super 16, a playful and ambitious reflection on the notions of time, place, and memory.
