My Octopus Teacher

When the director Craig Foster started free-diving lessons in the cold ocean waters of the Atlantic, never had he imagined the warm relationship he would build with a sea creature. Years later, he realizes that “it’s possible to have a meaningful relationship with nature [even] with a plant that you nurture in your apartment,” by virtue of an octopus that prompts us to become tracers of a wild world, but also members of an intimate, big family.
