Works in Progress

he countries that are eligible to participate are: Albania, Algeria, Bosnia - Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Egypt, France, FYROM, Greece, Hungary, Israel, Italy, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Malta, Montenegro, Morocco, Palestine, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovak Republic, Slovenia, Spain, Syria, Tunisia and Turkey.

Films that have participated in previous editions of the Agora Works in Progress are: My Dog Killer by Mira Fornay (Slovak Republic/Czech Republic), At Home by Athanassios Karanikolas (Greece/Germany), Boy Eating the Bird's Food by Ektoras Lygizos (Greece), Out in the Dark by Michael Mayer (Israel/USA), Luton by Michalis Konstantatos (Greece/Germany), September by Penny Panayotopoulou (Greece/Germany), Wasted Youth by Argyris Papadimitropoulos & Jan Vogel (Greece), Amnesty by Bujar Alimani (Albania/Greece/France) among others, Suntan by Argyris Papadimitropoulos.

The films are competing for the Eurimages Lab Award (up to 50.000€) and GRAAL post-production award (up to 70.000€ in post-production services).

If you are in the process of shooting or in post-production please and fill in the online Agora Works in Progress Registration Form and send it to us accompanied by a minimum of selected 25 minutes excerpts or scenes of your film in DVD format or a web link. 

A selection committee will preview the applications and select the films under production that are going to be presented during the Thessaloniki International Film Festival to a high level of industry professionals in November.
